We’ve been working on keeping things secure and running smoothly after a recent security event. First off, we blocked an IP address that was part of a known attack group — the kind that targets sites like ours. That IP now gets turned away before it even reaches our web servers, so it can't cause more trouble.

Next, we took care of some malware that had gotten into our WordPress system. We made sure to back up everything first, then removed the bad code and replaced corrupted files with clean versions. We also shut down the malicious processes that were running in the background, and verified that our site is solid again — all while keeping the rest of the site working as it should.

In the meantime, we’d temporarily changed the main homepage to a static HTML file, just to cut down on risk and keep things light. After testing and adjusting, we switched back to using WordPress for the homepage, but in a simpler way — no heavy plugins or complex layouts. It's still functional and easier to manage now.

Taken together, these actions help us stay stable during threats while keeping everything up and running. We're not trying to be fancy here — just making sure our site works as it should for visitors and us.
